Problems with webchat

Hi,

I needed to contact TalkTalk today to discuss my contract. I tried using my desktop windows machine using Chrome, and Edge as my browsers, but I couldn't find a link to connect to webchat on my logged in user dashboard or any of the support pages.

When I logged on using my phone I got a working link, and managed to contact TalkTalk by webchat, however the webchat timed out on three occasions, and dropped me back to the log on page. I did get reconnected to the web chat without losing any data each time - but it's not good to be booted off the chat without any warning. Also, at the end of the conversation I believe you should get the option to download transcript of your conversation, and also take a customer satisfaction survey, but those are not being presented either.

Hi Nambuso,

The First problem is that I need a trascript of my webchat from earlier today, and secondly, someone needs to check the desktop version of the website to confirm whether the webchat links are working, because they are not visible to me.

Hi there @Jonick. I am very sorry to hear this. Timeouts during web chats can be caused by inactivity or browser issues. Try to keep your inputs frequent or consider using a different browser to maintain the session. Please specify which aspect of your contract you would like to discuss? I'm here to help! Thanks
