Hi

Does TalkTalk now offer a static IP address to residential/home users like other ISPs these days ?

Thanks

What you need, @njr1972 is DDNS. You register with a DDNS provider that is compatible with your router (some are free). This will give you a domain, the provider tracks your domains's WAN IP address & updates itself as it changes. For incoming port forwarding etc, instead of specifying the router's WAN IP address, you specify the domain name.

Hi @njr1972 sorry no sign of it at all.

I don't work here and all my opinions are my own.

Hello there @njr1972. Please note that we do not offer static IP addresses to our residential clients. Instead, we provide dynamic IP addresses by default.

Thanks 🙂
