Total Home wifi .. free

Hi just upgraded to 944Meg  so Customer support are sending me another router  because of total home wifi .. most of my house is wired and the wifi i use is currently only for phones .. Will i be ok just leaving this in the box and never powering it up ?

I am currently using the eero router  full fiber

I currently have 500meg with on eero  router and have upgraded   so they are sending another eero  ,as it comes with total home wifi
