Your ISPs DHCP does not function properly

Just happened today, no changes made our end, tried two routers, both with the same message.

Rebooted all devices multiple times, no joy.

Called talk talk helpline, useless, told me to use online chat despite issue being no internet... online chat say only calling up will help, gave me a number to a line that was closed until Monday.

Useless.

Is there a problem or is it me?

No.

It was and has been working for well over a year, why this morning has it suddenly stopped.

I have already tried a completely fresh reset ASUS router I had hanging about to isolate it being the routers fault or not.

Hi @DanTheManWhoCan do you have a Talktalk router you can try with?

Literally the error message is "Your ISPs DHCP does not function properly".

Both are ASUS routers, both routers working fine prior to this morning.

WiFi / Wired is irreverent, I have devices connected both ways to the router, it is the connection to Talk Talk which is failing.

Apologies, I'm a software engineer, I've done this for years, this doesn't seem to be an issue on my end, it seems like the DHCP lease of my router isn't being released at Talk Talks end.

It's difficult @DanTheManWhoCan to answer you last question without knowing what issues you are experiencing?

What do you see when you look into your gui on routers?

Which routers?

Wired or WiFi?

Error messages?

Thanks
