My Wi-Fi connection dropped yesterday. I have got it connected today but when I try to link eero to my old modem and in turn my home phone, eero goes red. Previously, I linked the ONT cable to my old modem and another cable from modem to to the eero. A phone cable was used to link to cordless phone. This worked perfectly and I had no issues with IPad, PC and TV apps. However, to get Wi-Fi connection today I have to link ONT and eero directly and not through the modem. Hence, I do not have an home phone. All other linked devices are working perfectly. All advice greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi Roy,
I've ordered a DVA, it should be with you within a couple of working days

They not sent you the DVA they did not send me mine as well.
When you get it plug in the LAN port on your erro and plug you phone in.
then you get about 3 hours of the internet dropping and come back up till it all sorted out.

If you have Full Fibre with VoIP then yes, TalkTalk should provide you with a DVA. Like Michelle, I am puzzled at your current chain of devices. It should be ONT direct to eero. And then eero to DVA. Your phone then connects to the DVA. Any old modem is now redundant.

Michelle
Will TalkTalk provide me with a DVA?
Is there a particular model of DVA for the eero wifi?
Thanks for your help.

Hi Roy,
Apologies for the confusion. The set up should be eero connected to the ONT and the DVA (digital voice adapter) connected to the eero. Can I ask why you have an additional modem connected please?
Thanks
Michelle
