lost connection to sky server yesterday afternoon

hi all, yesterday I lost connection to sky through the sagecom wifi hub other websites were ok as far as I could tell , remembering something similar a while back I checcked the DNS servers in the router and changed the main one to 8.8.8.8 the google public dns server and connection was re-established immediately I now use Open DNS public server

Hello @blodwynblod. Thank you for sharing this, it may also give other an idea on what to do. But as @Divsec has advised, it's not a permanent solution particularly for security reasons so its always advisable that you revert to the original settings.

Hii @blodwynblod a good fix but don't forget some of the security, kidsafe etc. depend on the TT dns. Servers.
