who is responsible for removing redundant openreach kit ie. modem, master socket and cable

Any old master socket will remain in situ and if you had an Openreach modem e.g. for a G.fast service you can dispose of that responsibly yourself.

If you have a new router, the old one can be returned. Staff will send you a prepaid returns bag, @Trevor88.

They will confirm all the items when they reach your thread  - daytime Monday to Friday.
