Hi annienev123,

So is it now working? (There does appear to have been a cancellation order but our systems are showing that the service is currently active and line tests aren't picking up any issues)

The telephone number showing on our systems is the one ending 3975, line test is passing. If you call the landline number ending 3975 from your mobile, what happens?

Hi annienev123

There has to be a fault,  if 17070 reads back 3975 that means we haven't changed your number.

Posting on behalf of the OP, @Arne-TalkTalk, from a PM:

"rang 17070  came up my number ........3975  last thursday the 12th  talktalk sent an open reach engineer to see what was going on he asked for my number .....3975  he said that is not the number i have been given he said the number is  .......4271  while he was here i rang both numbers on my mobile and none were connected the engineer said wait half an hour while i go to the box at the end of our street before you try to make a phone call  after that wait i rang ......3975 not working  rang  ......4271 that worked  i then contacted talktalk  to be told somebody had cancelled my telephone account on january the 2nd  p neville"

Please note, the customer also writes:

"ps this community system is rubbish every time i try to click in a page comes system unresponsive after  30 seconds to a minute page comes on then every page i try to open comes up the same very annoying and time wasting"

So the customer is not even able to reply on here because of the freezing pages that I have previously reported.

The OP concludes with "sorry while all this was happening i could use my phone to call just receive no incoming calls".

Elsewhere you have posted that the phone number was reinstated, @annienev123.

Worth mentioning that here, and also staff had asked you whether you are now on Full Fibre with VOIP activated?

Please answer that for them to be able to help you.

Hi annienev123,

Is your Full Fibre service up and running? Do you have the VoIP service?

Hi annienev123,

Can you add your TalkTalk home telephone number to your community profile and we'll take a look at this for you
