Account Suspended?

In the event of suspension, am I still able to receive incoming landline calls?

 

Even though I am a registered financially vulnerable and 'limited mobility' customer, I failed to meet the agreed extension date.

Hi @CymruRob I will suggest that you contact the Collections Team, they will be able to advise if there is any further help that you can get given your situation to ensure that services are not restricted, services are usually restricted anytime 3 days after the date you promise to pay the bill when you have a arrangement.

I am due funds tomorrow from a works pension, but they are not the most reliable. I will also need to access online my banking details, so it's a slight catch 22 - if the account is suspended, the internet will not be available. In this instance, it will be helpful to know what is the standard time for any suspension?

 

I shall just wait and see what tomorrow brings.

Thank you for getting in touch. I understand how important it is for you to stay connected, especially as a financially vulnerable and limited mobility customer.
 

When an account is suspended due to missed payments, all landline services—including incoming and outgoing calls—are restricted until the balance is cleared. This means you won’t be able to receive calls during the suspension.

Looking into your account I can confirm that you have defaulted 2 arrangements on the account for the 26.11.2025 and pause was added for the 01.12.2025. There are no restrictions yet on your account. To resolve this, you’ll need to contact our Collections Team directly. They’ll review your account and advise further.
