Cost of calls from landline

I have broadband and landline but no call package. I have been trying without success to find the cost of calls to standard UK landlines. Told on online chat £1 per minute but can't believe this as it says various different amounts online. Also is it free to ring the 0345 service centre number from my landline when I don't have a call package.

Hope someone can help as I'm elderly and totally lost.

0345 numbers are charged at 24p unless you have a boost or call a Talktalk number, @davidleesunderland.

So they work like 01, 02. [Free with boost or to other Talktalk customers].

03451 720088 Talktalk support free from the TT landline.

Hi @davidleesunderland but your broadband contract has a landline with it if you use it or not and so the 24p p m(from memory) applies.

Also 0345 calls are free even more so when calling Talktalk as all calls to Talktalk numbers are free for the first hour.

I'm sure one of the Talktalk professionals will confirm this for us.

Thanks for trying to help but it only seems to refer to cost of calls in plans. I am pay as you go/no plan as I use my mobile for calls.
