I understood that I would be able to use my existing home phone and connect it to my router, but the router does not have a phone port to plug into.

 

My router is Fast 5364-3T8

ps my router is a black one with talktalk written on it, thats it

I have same problem. there is no where on the router to plug in my phone. spent two and half hours in live chat this morning and still not sorted.  they just kept saying I had option of digital voice or copper line. well I have the digital as they switched me but no way of using it as cannot plug in phone.  none of live chat people seemed to understand the concept of me needing a modem with a phone socket and have got no where and now have no landline phone
