Hi

Can anybody help? Apparently I need something called First Party Disconnect. My answer phone continues running after message left and caller has hung up. Does anybody know if TalkTalk uses this system?

Hi tommy1952

Thanks for your help @KeithFrench

Have you tested with a different phone? (answer phone)

Landlines are always cleared by the original calling party. Mobiles support first-party clearing.

I am sorry, but that is the way things work.

This sounds more like a faulty answer phone or a misconfigured one.

The TalkTalk Community has now moved to a peer-to-peer support model. This means that the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries.
