How to cancel my land line

My land line stopped working months and months ago - I reported it a couple of times but nothing happened.  I even bought a new phone but still did not work.  As I have not been able to use it for so long I wish to cancel as everyone uses my mobile number now.  Can you please advise.

@millar1, if you are on Fast Broadband [ADSL] or a Fibre to the Cabinet product  [Fibre35 or Fibre65] cancelling the landline cancels the entire package. 

 

You wouldn't have any Broadband at all without going to another provider - if they are Openreach serviced, you'll have the same problem with other similar ISPs. 

 

One solution would be to upgrade to a data only package  - eventually the copper landlines will be redundant anyway, but you could keep the use of the landline number with Talktalk if you specifically order full fibre with VOIP.

 

It's the same phone number as listed above.
