You must specifically ask to keep your number when you put through the order with Talktalk, @JennyW237.
It shouldn't be a problem and should be part of a simple switch process if this an ordinary ADSL or Fibre to the Cabinet order.
If you are ordering Full Fibre to the Premises, it's all more complex. Phone 03451 720088 to discuss or use Chat.
