The fault on the land line is;
On an increasing number of times callers are telling us {by mobile phone} that our land line is
ringing out from their point of view but it is not ringing here at home, so therefor we are not aware or responding. Please help.

I'm sorry for the delay. I've run a few tests on the line now which are clear. Is this still happening at the moment please? If you make a few test calls to your landine from a mobile, are you able to replicate this? Does your main socket also have a test socket please?

If you would like the support team to look into this for you make sure that your personal details including TalkTalk phone number and/or account number are complete on your community profile (click here) so that they can link your forum identity with your account and then wait for them to respond. Bear in mind that they won't be back online until Monday.
