Get help with your TalkTalk landline and calling features.
Thursday
I'm considering moving to Full Fibre broadband (FTTP) when my current TalkTalk contract ends soon.
I've had a look online at the Eero and it doesn't seem to have a port for connection to a landline phone if I choose to keep it.
I've now heard there's a Digital Voice adapter for this. Yes/No?
If so, am I right in thinking it diverts 'landline' calls to VOIP and will that include 0800 freephone calls?
If I decide on Full Fibre, will this DV adapter be sent as part of the overall package?
I'm aware the analogue phone signal will be switched off, but I'm unsure when exactly that will be.
Any comments welcome...
Thanks

Hi
Depending on which full fibre package you take, you will either receive the Wi-Fi Hb that has a phone port on the back, or an EERO and a Digital Voice adapter so a normal phone handset can be connected. This does use VOIP and will work as your current phone does now, with the same call services and charges, just using a different method of connection.
Thanks
Karl.
