Dear TalkTalk Team,
I am reaching out regarding a landline issue that has now persisted for over four weeks. My landline has been non-functional due to a damaged or broken external cable, and I reported this problem on October 21, 2024 (reference number: 1223298344919). I was informed at the time that an Openreach engineer would attend to resolve the issue; however, no engineer has arrived, and the issue remains unresolved.
This extended outage has caused significant inconvenience, and I am keen to understand what is happening and when I can expect the problem to be fixed. I would appreciate if you could escalate this matter, if possible, and provide a clear update regarding the timeline for resolution.
Additionally, please advise if there is any possibility of compensation due to this prolonged service disruption.
