Hi - talking to talktalktext ** removed ** about my landline remaining inactive I was advised to contact tech dept to remedy matters. I was told that my current package fast broadband   extra including landline  but remain without phone adapter to connect to full fibre. I've tried contacting tech dept but due to high volume of calls get referred back to above text line. How do I proceed please?

Hi @Backdoorman

Your current package is:

Fibre 150 = £29.95 + £16 anytime calls boost + £5 talktalk TV

You are out of contract meaning you are paying full price,  call the loyalty team on 03451720088 they will be able to help reduce your price per month.

Regards

The package doesn't have a separate charge for a landline, @Backdoorman, so it doesn't make any difference to the price simply having it (or not).

If you have Full Fibre, you would have had to order VOIP with it (so it's not a landline, simply a phone number).

Calls cost the same whether it's the traditional copper line with basic broadband or VOIP with Full Fibre.

Staff will be able to clarify the package for you but you must start your own thread.

This is another customer's old thread, and staff only respond to the original poster. You need to return to the message board and click on Start a Topic.

I've been without a landline since before Christmas. An openreach engineer has reported back to talk talk to tell them that the old copper circuit is redundant and that full fibre has not been activated to enable my landline to run off the router. I 'm currently paying £50.95 a month and despite repeated requests for a breakdown of the costs and the type of package that I'm supposed to be on I've had no reply. All I've been told is that I cannot have a landline because of the package I'm on.  But no one will tell me what package I'm on so I'm none the wiser about what I'm paying this money for.
