No Dial Tone - Landline not working

HI,

I have no dial tone on my home phone. My Fibre 35 connection is working normally.

I have run a line test on my phone twice; first time last week. Each time it tells me there is a faultand  I have an open case. However, when I check back the next day, my case appears to have been closed whilst my landline is still not working.

Can you get it fixed for me please?

Thanks. I have a text from Openreach to say someone is allocated.

 

The situation is still the same. i.e. Broadband working perfectly but no dial tone.

Line test is now failing with 'disconnection in network' so I've raised this to Openreach as a non-appointed task. Openreach will investigate over the next 72 hours and may contact you directly if they need to access your home

Chris,

Okay, I have cleared access to the various sockets now. I have also bought a new telephone to try. With the new phone I still have no dial tone and can't make or receive calls. It also doesn't work in the test socket. My broadband is working normally.

 

So, could you please arrange an engineer visit please. Any day on or after Wednesday, 15th Novemeber would be fine.

No I haven't. The wall  plate is in a very inaccessible place.

Instead of a dial tone, I just hear a series of clicks. My current fault reference number is REP-13601375. Can you tell if anyone is looking into it?

Hi aircraft,

 

I've run a line test, it isn't picking up any issues. Have you tested with your telephone connected to your test socket?
