No dialing tone just loud crackling noise, can't phone out and can't receive calls internet is working fine and I've tested another phone in socket and get the same result.

I'm sorry to hear this. I've run a test on the line now which hasn't detected a fault. Does your main socket have a test socket please?

Please add your Talktalk phone number and personal details in the profile area of the forum, which only you and staff can see, @bbazz.

 

Go via your avatar; settings etc.

 

Staff will then be able to identify your account. It will probably be Tuesday now before you hear back.
