my parents phone is not working, need an engineer now, mums 95 and dads 85. no dial tone, just crackling and sometimes screaming, needed it to ring doctors, luckily I popped round and used my mobile, dad drove to doctors who where closed and told to ring 111,

Hi @Dave_charlott , have you reported this elsewhere, perhaps in your parents my account section?

Your post has been escalated but the team will need your parents details to access their account and get things moving.

Please wait till the Talktalk team make contact before providing this information.

Two other thoughts ask TT to register Mum and Dad as vulnerable, and maybe treat them to a pay as you go phone for Christmas.
