iPhone taking a long time to make outgoing & incoming calls

Until quite recently when making an outgoing  telephone call my iPhone 12 would connect almost straight away, and the persons' phone I was calling would ring. Now it can take 15 seconds or longer for the call to connect and ring. I have also tried to ring into my iPhone using another phone and it also takes a similar time to connect and for the phone to ring.

Is this just a poor Talk Talk network issue??

Ah OK, is it a TalkTalk SIM you have? In which case you will need to contact TalkTalk mobile support directly, the team here can't really help with such issues. The only things I can suggest, which you may have tried already, are remove and reinsert the SIM and/or reset the phone. 

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries. No. It's a problem when making or receiving normal phone calls, using the mobile network

Does this issue only manifest itself when using WiFi calling while connected to your TalkTalk router?
