Talktalk blocks links sent by Convertkit

We subscribe to a website that sends us several links a day by email which we need to complete certain tasks. They use Convertkit to send these emails. This last week these links have become inoperable on any device (laptop, phone, ipad, pc) while connected to our Talktalk router (the phone worked only while disconnected from the router). As it is an issue on all our devices while connected to the router the problem is not with the individual devices or their caches. Not all the devices use security software like Norton, so that is also not the reason. We have reset the router to factory settings, but that didn't make any difference.

ChatGPT tells us that Talktalk does indeed block sites like Convertkit. Is there any way Talktalk can undo this block? If so, how can we make them do it?

Hi there @Martina2B .TalkTalk reserves the right to block any site or link that is not deemed fit or goes against policies on our TalkTalk network. If you still require access this site please use a different network connection or your mobile data, thanks.

We reported your finding to the original website who were sending us these links via "Convertkit" ( now known as "Kit"). They responded with "We can find no evidence of the court order you refer to".

Would you please specify and substantiate your claim.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

This website has been taken down (blocked) by a court order for legal reasons.

Unfortunately, TalkTalk is unable to assist with this matter

No, it is on all devices ( various users) only when connected to our router. Only one

pc has an adblocker. My phone is without ad blocker, and gets the blocking message when on wifi, but gets the link to work when on the mobile network, which is not Talktalk

Please confirm if the issue was caused by your Ad-Blocker?

Yes, it is a ConvertKit message saying "This site can't be reached"

As you can see earlier in the chat, quite a few links via ConvertKit get blocked.

Hopefully you can get more info from that link I posted here.

Okay, noted. Do you see a blocked webpage notification message when attempting to access the site you experience problems with?

No, but I did have my talktalk line checked thoroughly two weeks ago, when I addressed all this with someone via webchat. They did not find any issues with the line.

Do you have any active monitoring for life threatening health reasons which is solely dependant upon your TalkTalk Broadband or Telephone line?

For example a care alarm, lifeline, health pendant or fall detector.

Hi, yes, it is every link that is being sent via ConvertKit. the original website, who uses ConvertKit for a number of links, also sends some links direct and they all work. Only the links they send through ConvertKit are blocked.

I understand how frustrating this can be, and I'm here to help you.

It appears that there may be a block on ConvertKit or related sites from our network, which is why you're unable to access those links on your devices, but we will have a look into this. Are you having issues with every link you try or just certain links?

Yes, we are. We would still like to get to the bottom of this. Is there any way you can check if the website Convertkit is on some blocklist by Talktalk?
