I had an email form talktalk 3 months ago saying my router will shortly stop recieving updates. and that talktalk would be in contact with me regarding this. ive heard nothing , im now concerned about my wifi security , Ive deleted their email to me regarding this and trying to explain to them is impossible.

anyone else had the email and what has happened? ive had my router for ages and its probably out of date now it still works though,

Hi @Aurora2 you are not alone in receiving the letter and it stems from a new regulation regarding keeping customers informed. The security on you router is still above adequate and Talktalk are sometimes parsimonious with replacement kit which is still functioning well.

Should it develop a fault it will be replaced after jumping through a few testing hoops.

Your post has been escalated and I hope they rush to prove me wrong.
