Why is BBC1 ALWAYS defaulting to BBC iPlayer
I’ve reset my 4K box numerous times, it works for a while and then it goes back to iPlayer!
I can’t log out - I just get a black screen and have to turn everything off and on again to get it back

You could try the following which may help.
Let us know how you get on.
1) Navigate to ITV1 by pressing “3” on the remote control.
2) Press the “CH-” key on the remote to load BBC TWO
3) An info bar will appear towards the bottom, immediately press the “Right” arrow key
on the remote to navigate to the “Settings” option.
4) Immediately press the “OK” button on the remote control. This will show a new box
titled “Channel Source” for BBC TWO
Note that you will need to perform steps 3 and 4 (pressing “right” & “OK”) in quick
succession - i.e. within about 2 seconds. If you aren’t quick enough, simply press “CH+” to
load ITV1 again and repeat from step 2.
5) Use the “Left” or “Right” arrow keys to switch to “BBC TWO HD” which is the aerial
version of the channel. The source labelled just BBC TWO is the iPlayer version.
6) All other BBC channels should now play through your aerial, i.e. the iPlayer loading
screen should no longer appear. You can check this by navigating to either BBC ONE
(channel #1) or BBC THREE (channel #23).

Ok, thanks. Support staff should pick up tomorrow.
Re the 101+ channels, if you have an HD or 4k TV these give much better pictures than their low number equivalents.

The signal hasn’t changed and it was done for 2 years. This is a recent thing.
i reset the box last night and we’re back to iPlayer being forced.
The box is always on standby over night so that hasn’t worked :0(
101 works tho 👍🏻

The box is designed to fit this on channels 1 and 2 if the signal is poor.
However I understand that the configuration settings have recently been amended to avoid this happening.
I don't know when you last tried a reset but if not since last week can you try again by pressing the button on the left hand side 5 times and the box should restart.
If it's still happening, leave the box in standby overnight and hopefully it will update it's settings.
Using channels 101 and 102 will avoid this happening and also have the benefit of HD quality pictures
Please let us know how you get on.
