Why am I unable to get some channel 4 playback programmes

This question would be better asked of Channel 4.

 

You don't say which box you have, and the app itself can vary between devices and content broadcast in some circumstances.

 

However, your box is only the delivery method of the app and the content and the app itself is controlled by the app owner, in this case Channel 4.

 

If what you are looking for is not available, then this may be a contractual issue that prevents C4 from including it on catchup, and it will not be viewable

 

As said, if you want to know why, it would be best to contact C4 direct.
