Help with connecting older TV (with Scart connection)

Hi,
Can someone please help with this connection issue? I'm moving my set-top box to another room & another TV, but the TV is older & doesn't have HDMI connection, it only has Scart.
I've purchased a Scart to HDMI Converter to connect my TV to the Set-top box and connected a Digital Indoor Aerial, but after scanning the TV for channels, it says "No Channels".
Please can you advise on what I'm doing wrong, or will it just not work?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In your case from what you have said then you need to plug the aerial into the set top box and then connect that to your TV via the Scart/HDMI adapter.

Oh! Can I boost the signal strength any way?
As you can probably see, I'm rubbish at this sort of thing!!!!! 😞
Also, where would the aerial be plugged into....the TV or the Set-top box?

It's likely to be the indoor aerial if that's the message you're getting. Digital tuners, especially in set top boxes are generally quite sensitive and need a decent signal strength and quality.
