Missing TV channels

Can someone help me with missing TV channels? In particular ITV?
It seems to disappear but only when there's a big football or rugby match!
I've returned the TV stations but this hasn't made any difference!
See attached photo of my TV guide - I've got 1 & 2 but then there's a load missing!
Any help would be appreciated!
Penny

Hi,
Put your postcode in the Freeview website and it will tell you what you should be getting and the channel numbers.
https://www.freeview.co.uk/freeview-channel-checker
I would expect the channels to be present but not sure why they are missing from the channel guide.
By the way, if you have an HD or 4k TV, try using the channels from 101 as these will be in better quality than their equivalent single digit numbers. 103 for example is ITV 1.

I've now found ITV 1 by keying in 3 from my remote so the channel has been added, it just doesn't appear on the programme guide. This is just one that I channel as I know there are others too? Any ideas??

Tried both of your suggestions but neither worked! This only started happening a couple of weeks ago so I'm really confused! Appreciate your help & advice though! Thanks 😊

Hello! As I'm not the most techy person in the world , I obviously haven't done this properly as I haven't solved the problem! So I'm going to have another go next week so I don't make things worse when the rugby's on! But thanks for your advice!

Also regularly have same issue and only way I have found to fix is to reset tv box. This then requires you to reactivate everything including app logins etc

Hi,
Try a retune, but remove the aerial from the box. This will result in no channels being found but will clear any memory the box may be holding. Then retune with the aerial reinserted.
If that does not work, and I am assuming you have a Netgem 4k box, try a reset by pressing the button on the left hand side 5 times u til the box restarts.
Note, you will lose any recordings you may have if you utilise this function, and have to sign into apps again.
Hope this works, but if not please post back for staff to pick up next week.
