Multi room is no more.
If you wish something to make your old TV smart again, the most effective way is something like an Amazon Firestick or Roku stick.
These have the benefit of the latest apps and you use your TV for terrestrial TV.
If you can wait, Amazon regularly reduce the fire sticks in sales and are then very good value for money.
You will need an HDMI port on your TV.
