Why does my talk talk box keeps locking all channels except BBC, I have to unlock them individually via parental controls setting.

Hi

The reset should clear it, but please report back if it does not.

Ok, in which case try a reset by pushing the button on the left had side 5 times and the box will restart.

You will lose recordings if you utilise this function.

Please let us know how you get on.

I have the 4k box, can't see anyway to switch off all parental controls. It just hides them, I don't understand why.

Which box do you have?

If it's the Hub or a YouView box you can turn off parental control totally within the settings menu.

You will be asked for a pin number, and, unless you input your own number during initial setup, the default is 1234, or 0000.

If this doesn't work, or you have forgotten your pin, you can reset the box and when you get to parental control setup, turn it off.

You shouldn't then have any issues.
