Hi. I tried to use my codes for switching my NOW TV services from Talktalk directly to NOW but they aren’t working. When I go on to my NOW account it tells me to manage them through Talktalk. Anyone know how to make the switch?

I have contacted NOW yet again and am now told there is a problem trying to activate the codes provided by Talktalk. Their technical team is trying to sort this apparently and it will be done “at the earliest”, whenever that is. What a shambles.

Still not working! And on my Boost element it still says it has to be managed through Talktalk, does anyone at Talktalk know if this has been properly cancelled at their end? I also see from other threads that other customers are having similar issues and are also getting fobbed off with the “it’s a NOW problem. Contact them” response. The level of unhelpfulness/indifference from Talktalk is staggering.

This is like banging my head off a brick wall! I have been in touch with NOW again today. They say it is a Talktalk issue. Talktalk say it is a NOW issue. I think it’s fair to say that neither know what is going on or how to solve this problem (or frankly care about trying to sort it). And referring me to the link previously posted is totally pointless. I have looked at that more than once and it does not address the problem I am having. My NOW deal through Talktalk has ended but I can’t watch directly with NOW for two weeks as that is when the voucher codes kick in. So much for a seemless transition.

Another update on this total farce. I have been able to use three of my voucher codes -  Entertainment became active today and I could sign up for it. However, I still can’t watch anything as NOW are saying they won’t start until August 13. They also said I should ask Talktalk why the codes were set to start on the 13th? It all means as it stands I won’t have access to NOW for two weeks. Also, the Boost element is still saying it needs to be managed through Talktalk.

I understand that. But I still can’t watch anything as NOW are still saying the Boost element still has to be managed through Talktalk. Has it been cancelled by Talktalk?

All existing TalkTalk TV customers who already have a NOW Membership on their package will automatically receive the NOW Boost at no extra cost (normally £6 a month). The NOW Boost lets you stream on up to 2 devices at the same time in HD and ad-free. Full HD requires a compatible device and 1080p HD TV (or higher).

Sorry, I should have been clearer. The boost that gives access to stream NOW on 2 or 3 devices.

Try telling that to NOW. I have said that to them but they won’t accept it. On my NOW account, it still says to manage Entertainment and Boost through Talktalk. As I previously said, I assume this will end at some point but at the moment I am without any NOW services. There seems to be a problem with the crossover from Talktalk to NOW but it is the customer who is left to try to sort out the mess with very limited help from Talktalk or NOW.

@Graemealex I am looking into your account there is no Now membership that is active with TalkTalk. You can also look into your MyAccount portal so that you can see that the membership is not active with TalkTalk. Now cinema was disconnected on the 16/07/2025, Now sports was disconnected on the 05/07/2025.

The codes do work but they don’t seem to be in sync. Cinema and Sport are set up but won’t work until Entertainment and Boost are activated and I can’t do that because NOW say they are still active with Talktalk. Talktalk say they have been cancelled. So at the moment nothing works and both sides say to contact the other for assistance. No one is taking responsibility to get this to work.

Just to update. I am currently without NOW TV as I’m stuck in limbo. Talktalk say they have cancelled my services, NOW say Entertainment and Boost haven’t been cancelled with the result nothing is working. I was able to set up Sport and Cinema with NOW and my payment dates are showing but I can’t actually watch anything as everything is padlocked. I’m assuming this is because Entertainment and Boost still have some link to Talktalk. I’m guessing these will be freed up in the next day or two? NOW say it will all start from August 1 so I will wait and see. Meanwhile, at the moment I have no service. At the start of this process Talktalk said it would be an easy switchover but my experience has been far from it. And the customer service is abysmal.

i currently cannot, get now tv to change my package it does not happen. On  the chat to now tv  for 10 minutes they say it needs to be talktalk. I have the codes, it wont work on now tv, they advise to speak to talktalk. No live chat avaiable either
