Now TV stopped working

I did not have a warning that NOW TV will stop working, I had a new deal with TalkTalk for Sky Sports on Now for 24 months, with a discount, this was a big reason for signing again withTalkTalk. A new deal with Now direct will cost more. Is there anything that can be done?

We again apologize for the inconvenience this has caused, and we know there is nothing now we can do as Now TV is no part of TalkTalk.

Hi, thanks for the number.

So I have called them explaining my situation, they keep trying to tell me they sent an email in June with a link for a discount with Now, this was never received, I have every other email received by TalkTalk and they never go to Junk.

 

They have advised they cannot send the email again as it was sent by “the system”

 

I have been a TalkTalk customer for many years and the reason I signed in December for an extended term was because of the Now TV Sky Sports discount. I will now be £270 out of pocket if I go direct with Now for my remaining term, I was offered £10 as a “resolution” which is pitiful and embarrassing.

The customer service advisor was nice and was trying to help but is limited with what they can do as she was getting no help from her managers.

 

This will be my last contract with TalkTalk as customers do not matter.

@Chudley55 there is nothing more that I can add, except you could phone the loyalty team regarding a voucher.

 

You never know how they will react, or if they even have any vouchers, but it might be worth the call.

@Chudley55, had you opted out of marketing? You would need to have opted in to marketing emails to receive a voucher.

So I have to buy a new membership direct with Now and have lost my discount?

also can you advise why some customers have received a voucher?
