I have Now tv Boost through Talktalk. I want to remove it to enable me to subscribe to Now tv Ultraboost.
2 hours contact with talktalk and now tv, neither take responsibility. Now tv say they cannot remove it as the subscription is through a 3rd party. Talktalk say only Now tv can remove it. Unbelievably stressful.
Advice on here was to contact Now - hit a brick wall with both companies.

They may not be active but I cannot manage it. Please don’t say it’s a Now issue because they will say it is a Talktalk issue. You may have removed it from my account but it is still on my Now account as managed by Talktalk.

I understand however, the boost were removed from your account and they are not active, I have escalated this for you and I will follow up with you as soon as I have more information.

Despite some customers reporting resolutions my Boost stubbornly remains ‘managed by Talktalk’
This may not seem a problem to you but I wish to subscribe to Now Ultraboost to enable 3 screens in my household. I cannot do this until Talktalk Boost is removed. This has been a big problem in a family of sports watchers.

Thank you @fr8ys

And I have raised likewise with the Forum Manager to forward to the correct team as we have seen another couple of similar posts.

@SueJo1 I understand your frustration regarding the ongoing issues with your account. I want to assure you that I have escalated your concerns to my Manager for further investigation.
It is unacceptable to be caught between two companies without a resolution. I appreciate your patience as we work to address this matter. I will follow up with you as soon as I have more information.

But Now still have it ‘billed by Talktalk’ It is perhaps marked as disconnected on Talktalk accounts but Now dispute that has happened. What are customers to do? We are caught between 2 incompetent companies who have no regard for customers other than taking their money.
So just to repeat
Talktalk say they can do nothing contact Now.
Now say they can do nothing contact Talktalk.
How long are you going to tell us to do the same thing knowing we get the same responses?
on 12-08-2025 12:49 PM
Sorry to hear this however, Now TV was disconnected from your account and that is why you have been referred to Now TV for any further assistance.
on 12-08-2025 12:45 PM
I really don’t think you do understand the frustration!
Message received yesterday telling me the problem had been solved - of course it hasn’t! Still the instruction is to contact Now who say contact Talktalk over and over and over again.
on 11-08-2025 12:32 PM
I understand your frustrations, we are looking into this for you.
on 11-08-2025 12:28 PM
Here we go again
it’s Talktalk, no it’s Now, no it’s Talktalk, no it’s Now. - and on it goes!
on 11-08-2025 12:16 PM
Thank you for this. I will further investigate this matter on my end however; this matter will need to be dealt with by Now TV directly.
on 11-08-2025 12:12 PM
I have just received an email telling me that me the issue is sorted.
Everything is exactly the same!
Still ‘managed by Talktalk’
Claiming a solution is misleading.

Do Now know or realise that all agreements between themselves and TalkTalk ended on 29th July?
The only thing I can think of, unless you have a promotional period left, is to suggest you close the existing account with them and start again using a different email address.

Another wasted morning trying to get Now to take some action as Talktalk told me to do. They can do nothing apparently as only Talktalk can deal with this. Round and round again! I was also told to contact EE!!!!!!! That would be interesting as I don’t have an EE account. I could have 3 companies in my blame each other circle!
on 07-08-2025 12:07 PM
But Now say they cannot remove the boost as Talktalk manage the subscription. I keep getting told that it isn’t Talktalk but Now say it is. Now will do nothing and we just go round and round. Is it not beyond the realms of possibility that the 2 companies try to resolve this. I have checked again this morning and if I want to manage my Boost a link takes me to the Talktalk site.

@SueJo1 your contract is with Now, now.
It's confirmed that you have been disconnected from the TalkTalk portion of your Now contract so there is nothing more that can be done here.
You need to pursue with Now for a resolution of you can't see the boost you need with them.
Some technology is such that if your box is not compliant with UHD Protocols required by a supplier, then that boost is unavailable.
iPlayer for example does this with Panasonic TVs so you can't even see UHD programmes in the listings.

Still exactly the same situation, no help from Talktalk. I am not the only person in this situation but clearly customers problems are not addressed

The Boost shows on the account as managed by Talktalk. I spent 2 hours in contact with Now this morning and they say they cannot remove the Boost and that Talktalk will remove it. Talktalk say Now should remove it. No one will help me, I am just being told the same thing over and over again.
