how to delete an extra user profile on community that I created by mistake

I was trying to sort out an issue with my talktalk f secure boost and was online to someone in the tech team who directed me to the community. The page came up to create an account which I did but I already have one under a different user name. Is there a way to delete the new user profile as I've now got two? I've asked the same question on both profiles (this is my original profile)- it was relating to an error in reinstalling supersafe after doing a system restore on my laptop

@mareus56, your post about F-secure is here:

https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Security/having-problems-with-talktalkfsecure-installation-keep-...

I found it very quickly just clicking on your name and running through the list of threads under ACTIVITY in your profile, as mentioned above.

The posts you added there under your other profile now show as posted by "anonymous" but are still there in the thread.

thank you I think that's got rid of the extra one - was having a bit of a problem logging back in to my original one and think I've lost my post asking about an error message when trying to do a fresh instal of talktalkf secure after a system restore

In either of the two profiles,  @mareus56

@Anonymous

..... there's an ACTIVITY  area where you can see what you posted and the latest post by anybody in any topic that you posted in. That makes it easier to get back to your thread.

The link @ferguson  supplied is for you to delete the profile. Support staff will not have done so as they don't work weekends

it's still showing that the 0156 user profile one is active and not letting me sign out of it to sign it to the correct original one

the extra profile 0156 is still showing on my account and I can't sign out of it to sign back in under the correct one.  I think my original one has maybe been removed by Community Support in error - can someone please confirm what's happened

Also am having issues knowing where to start posts, find posts and see replies on the community page in talktalk.

Can't fix error issue with f-secure supersafe installation either despite having tried several times to uninstall and reinstall it.

Hi @mareus56

I can't see another similar post under another profile, but to avoid duplication and the risk both get deleted, you decide which one you wish to go and post on that one, and on the other ask for it to remain.
