I want to upgrade the TV box and remote as this is now worn, difficult to press the buttons and generally the box is outdated. My contract is due for renewal. If I renew the contract will I be able to get the latest TV box

Sound advice there, but do also bear in mind, depending on when and under what terms you got your old box, that TalkTalk TV now comes with a £5 monthly charge. If you are paying that already then that won't be an issue for you.
