TV hub remote

Message 2 of 2

Setting up a new TV Hub. Got as far as pairing the remote. Have a screen that says TalkTalk RRC408 has already been connected. There is a blue box saying Next. It has frozen on this screen. Can't click on Next or go back. Tried turning everything off & on, changed batteries in remote.

Any ideas ?

If you can't get to the pairing page you will need to reset your hub to factory settings.

Before doing so are you following these instructions from the help page.

Your remote control will not auto-sync with your TV or Soundbar. If you would like to adjust the volume on your TV using the TV Hub remote, you can easily set it up by following the simple steps below.

  1. Press the Home button on your TV Hub remote
  2. Press the up arrow to select Settings (cog)
  3. Select Remotes & Accessories
  4. Select your connected remote (For example TalkTalk RC408)
  5. Select TV/AVR Control
  6. Follow the simple setup steps on your TV by pressing on Begin
  7. After a short time you'll be asked to test your volume and confirm everything is working. If not, follow further steps on your TV to get yourself set up.

You'll now be able to switch between TV Volume mode and TV Hub volume mode by:

  • Pressing Home and digit 2 together on your remote until the blue light blinks twice to switch to TV Hub volume mode
  • Pressing Home and digit 1 together on your remote until the blue light blinks twice to switch to TV volume mode

Heres how to reset your box.

Unplug the power cable and HDMI cable and hold down front panel button . Now plug back in the power cable and HDMI cable whilst still holding the front panel button down . Once the Android recovery screen appears you can release the button and complete a factory reset and software upgrades.

After you’ve reset your box, you’ll need to complete the setup wizard by following the onscreen steps. You'll also need to download any apps you've previously added and sign-in to any app that requires credentials.
