Firstly, we don't have any faults with our router or internet at all.
We have 9 people in our house and I wondered if I could use an alternative router like the tp link be550 that allows multiple SSID's so that for instance, i could set one SSID to 200 meg and another to unrestricted. i could upgrade my FF package from 150 to 900 and get actual full fibre speeds and nobody would be any the wiser 🙂 fwiw, i'm the only one complaining about the lack of bandwidth.

Hi
A router will not let you set different speeds for each Wi-Fi SSID, however with some routers, you can set QoS for individual devices. This will limit the speeds for those devices.
For example, I set a couple of playstations in my home a while ago to a limit of 10mb.

I have never come across a router that allows separate SSIDs for different speeds? Apart from the fact that 5GHz is likely going to allow a faster wireless connection than 2.4GHz.
