I have just tested these ports & they are all open:-   28015: UDP 28016: TCP  28083: TCP   UDP ports are not compatible with port-checking websites, they only work with TCP ports. I do have another more complex way of testing them though, hence how I have proved 28015 is OK.   As some of your ports are open when you test them, then you are obviously not falling foul of NAT Loopback. Yes, I know the router was swapped out. You can tell the firmware by looking at any page in the Sagemcom & it is shown along the bottom left, where it says version:-   Example of f/w V174   With it being ordinary broadband, I would suspect either the line or the line card in the exchange. What make/model of router do you have (if this is a TalkTalk router, these details will be on a label on the rear or underside of it)? 2. If you log onto the router what are the download & upload speeds quoted there (normally in the initial dashboard area)? If however, you have full fibre the way to check the speed is different. Please can you connect an Ethernet (wired) device such as a PC/laptop directly to the ONT in place of the router. Then do a normal speed test there. 3. Hi @Lottie04    Wi-Fi optimisation is a facility that TalkTalk can enable/disable for you on the router that is currently connected to the fibre. If they disable it now, it will only apply to your current router, not the replacement. The reason that you will be offered one fibre network over another is simple. Whoever has installed the fibre cabling just outside your house, is the network that TalkTalk has to use. Full Fibre or Future Fibre, are just marketing terms to describe TalkTalk's FTTP service. The fibre cabling can be provided by Openreach, City Fibre or other smaller companies. The FTTP is terminated with an ONT, the one you get depends on whose FTTP service TalkTalk is using for your address. As far as I am aware, you do not normally get a choice of FTTP providers, as it depends on which one has laid the fibre network outside your property.   However, the service is basically the same, whoever provides the cabling, as you have been told, with the exception of the VoIP/Digital Voice. Openreach supports VoIP, whereas currently, City Fibre does not. In the latter case, your phone line is retained back to the exchange, in addition to the new FTTP.    The router that you are provided with can vary, it will be either the Sagemcom 5464, or the Eero. In the latter case, you will also be provided with a Grandstream ATA to provide the digital voice, whereas the 5464 simply has a phone port on the back to connect your landline phone(s) to digital voice. Hi @Lottie04    I have just looked up the Wi-Fi specifications of your HUMAX FVP - 5000T, which can only use the 2.4GHz band. Some Canon printers are the same. Do you currently have any devices that connect OK via this band? You can find this out by going to the 5464's main Advanced display which will show the devices connected wired (Ethernet), those connected to the 2.4 & those connected to the 5GHz bands. ...
