I'm probably late to the 'party' here, however, currently paying £23.95 a month which apparently is going up by £8.95 a month soon to £32.90 - that's a bit of a hike from my current bill for Fibre 65 Data Only! Is this correct?

@stephengward, I have also checked on my end and do notice that your plan is currently out of commitment, which means that all discounts added to your plan the first time you signed up have come to an end resulting in all prices reverting back to standard pricing.
I will also strongly advise for you to get in touch with our Loyalty department using 0345 172 0088 Monday - Friday 9am - 7pm; Saturday - 9am - 6pm; Sunday - Closed as our dedicated team will provide you with better deals available for your account. 🙂
Thanks

@stephengward, checking Talktalk for existing customers, in the small print, this seems to be their current offer:
What's scary is the effect of the Ofcom recommended change to a fixed change in April each year.
Way above the CPI + 3.7% that we had, which was unlike to hit the £3.00 mark for most basic deals except with very high inflation.

Hi - well, re the link, TalkTalk has placed an order in relation to my landline without my consent. However, this is not linked to my account - so its been a real nightmare for them to acknowledge this. When they do acknowledge it, I then seem to get transferred to another person who doesn't see the issue (because, as I say, its not on my account). In the meantime, Opeanreach continues to msg me about this Friday's appointment, which I don't want - I'm currently in a WhatsApp chat with TalkTalk. A bit of a nightmare tbh.

Looking at the details in your attachment, you've been out of contract since May 23.
Were you on a Fixed Plus Price tariff that didn't leap up last year?
Looks like being out of contract this long, you don't have that cushion any more.
Ring 03451 720088 or use Chat to negotiate a new deal.
It can't be sorted by forum staff.

It could be correct if you are to be out of contract, or any of your discounts is due to expire.
Did you ever get to the bottom of what was happening with the message from Openreach, in this thread?
