CONTRACT RENEWAL

Fibre broadband is now available at my postcode address via virgin or Truespeed. I am currently using a landline that is due to be switched off this year in Weston-super-Mare but I understand that BT will not be offering fibre upon which talkttalk is piggy backing as there are no locally placed fibre cables in my street. Can I agree a 2 year contract which I will have to break once my landline is cut off without suffering any exit penalties as this would be beyond my control?

Thank you for this very useful help. We live in a communication age in which on occasion communication is severely lacking.

@nigelboddington, sometimes Talktalk uses Cityfibre or another contractor for the engineering works - not just Openreach for full fibre.
The best thing to do is phone 03451 720088 or use Chat to fix up a good deal now. You'll need to check from time to time for full fibre availability in your area, but they can't simply switch you off with no service. Speak to them directly for all details.
The roll out of full fibre is likely to take far longer than initially envisaged.
