Hi I have already changed my internet etc to Vodaphone because it is a better deal and Talk Talk are very difficult to deal with . I believe Vodaphone have aleady contacted Talk talk to tell them but they don`t seem to acknowledge this. How do I actually inform them that my direct debit has been terminated ? Do they require me to return their equipment ?

Please answer asap email obscured for customer security

Prepare for TalkTalk Support - include in the Community Profile (not in these public posts):

TalkTalk account holder name, TalkTalk former home 'phone number (if not Data Only broadband)

Alternative mobile contact number. Full address with postcode (in the Location box)

Scroll down to Private notes to add the customer email address and account number

Check and Save changes

Select here: Update your profile

 

Whether Vodafone have contacted TalkTalk depends on the broadband service you're taking with Vodafone and if you've asked for your TalkTalk landline telephone number to be switched to Vodafone. If your landline number is being migrated then Vodafone will have contacted TalkTalk.  NB it's not wise to cancel a Direct Debit until you have received your final TalkTalk bill for £0 confirming no more charges are due. Login to your customer MyAccount

Select Dashboard from the drop down selector by your login name top right and you should then see the Start a chat button when chat messaging is available.

TIP - Pause tracker blocking in the browser, ad-blockers and similar blocking software to avoid conflict with the operation of chat messaging.

Landline calls to Customer Services on 0345 172 0088 and cancellations on 0345 172  5157, if you're leaving, are free from a TalkTalk home 'phone but otherwise are at a standard landline call rate.

 

Mobile calls to Customer Services on 0203 441 5550, and Text Relay Service is 18001 then 0345 172 0088.
