I also was sent a email in November 2024 for a free Huawai band 9 watch as gift, saying don’t need start a new contract, and obligation said a selected amount has received this offer, clicked got confirmation said up to 45 days. Now TalkTalk say they have no info on this offer on my account. Spent an hour with live talk message with no joy at the end.

would like to know why I got this email if TalkTalk won’t honour it, after I was sent it.

These are not scams, @Olivia111 ... it just takes time to track things especially if tracking cookies have gone.

It's always sorted out if the claim is genuine. Occasionally people misunderstand the offer. It's always clarified and sorted if they post their own topic on the forum.

I too received the email you refer to…clicked to accept gift. Thought nothing more of it until DHL delivered today the said watch!

Found your post as I had to Google to see if it was some sort of scam! But all appears genuine.

Hi @Andy1233 it looks genuine, but is it? Have you examined the detail behind the sender information?

Either way your post has been escalated and you should hear soon.  In the meantime please check your community profile and add your landline number and/or account number so your account can be identified. Please don't post personal information here.
