Incorrect billing, charged an overlap period

Hi,

 

I was previously a Shell customer, transferred to Talk Talk. My last payment in Shell was paid up to 19 August 2024. I have received my first bill, but the amount of 'Charges since you joined' is incorrect. It is charged from 12 Aug 24 - 07 Sep 24, not from 20 Aug . Talk Talk has overcharged the bill from 12-19 Aug 2024. The bill is incorrect.

 

Would anyone could advise how to contact the staff please? I will be out of town for 2 weeks, any email can be provided for contact please?

Talktalk's systems will normally automatically charge you from the date you were switched over to the start of the billing cycle and then the full month ahead, @Kinakina.

 

It's not very different from switching from another ISP in that respect.  Normally the old ISP would balance the books with you by refunding the overspend after you left.

 

There's a special Shell Migration team designated to sort out the overlap in the payments in this case.

 

So you need to contact them on 03451 720088 after 9am (Monday to Saturday). You may also be able to use the Chat option.
