Hello,

My monthly DD has been £26.65 for some time, when the previous contract expired I was advised that it would remain at this until I bought into a new contract.  I haven't changed contract but the DD this month has gone up to £30.65.  Can you tell me what has happened as I've not received any notice to explain the increase or that it was happening.

Cheers,

@AnybodyHome,

For this April, Talktalk policy on the Fixed Price Plus deal changed.

See if you can haggle for a much better deal.

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries. Don’t worry we still have plenty of ways to reach out if you need to speak to TalkTalk directly. For more details check out the link in the post at the top of any forum message board.

Yes that's what I think too.  However, ever since my previous contract expired I've been receiving offers of new contract and they all ended with saying that if I continued as is then it would remain at £26.65.  As I'm happy with what I currently have I haven't changed.

TalkTalk increases the charge by £4 every April.

TalkTalk is fine, when there are no issues, but getting issues resolved can be a real headache.
Incorrect information on TalkTalk help pages is unhelpful.
