I understand talktalk take there money for the coming month but my account with talktalk is being terminated on the 3/6/24 so I feel I shouldn't be billed for a full month especially as part of the bill includes landline costs which we don't even use. I get I have to pay something but I thought taking the full amount is a bit excessive as I'm leaving in less than 7 days.  can you help with this?

@CROSBYJ, the billing cycle allows the opportunity for you to change your mind about leaving so the next bill reflects the true number of days you actually use.

Probably tidier at the accounting end!

HI  CROSBYJ

Sorry that you are leaving.

Its the way the billing system works, it doesn't take into account the cancel request , but once the account cancels, there will be a credit applied for the overpayment, you can request a refund via My Account.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused by this.
