Recurring Card Payment

As with others, I received an email at the beginning of July about TalkTalk being unable to talk recurring card payments and to go online and use an alternative payment method etc. My credit card is registered with TalkTalk but I didn't want to do DD so I thought I would follow the instructions to add a card for a one off payment when the bill is due. I However, I've just logged onto my account to do this and it says that my bill (due yesterday 23 July) has been paid and there is no balance outstanding.  I even went into the 'Make a card payment'  but the message said that there  is no amount due for collection. I'm now totally confused. Can anyone tell me what is going on?

Yes we expect it to continue till December at least.

My bill is due and I am wondering if I still need to continue making a one off card payment for my bills? My credit card is still on the system but it doesn't look like any payment has been taken. I haven't had any communications saying whether or not the recurring card payment has been resumed or to continue to make one off payments. The last email I received said this was only for July and August but I've had nothing else about it since. Can you enlighten me?

The payment look to has gone through. you may be one of the accounts awaiting the change to the new supplier this month, there maybe a chance in the next 48 hours its is rejected, you will get a notification if that is the case.
