Accepted a renewal offer on 5/2, but it didn't show up in My Account, and didn't get a confirmation email. Then notice that My Account was offering me a completely different renewal price, substantially worse. Used Live Chat to enquire whether my order had been accepted, the bot eventually passed me to a CSR who said don't worry you will get a confirmation email in 24-48 hours. Still nothing and now I can't log in to My Account to check.
I've now had a look around and realise there are much better deals than the TalkTalk one I accepted. I think I have 14 days to cancel but don't know if that is from the date I accepted the renewal or from when TalkTalk confirm. Any info would be gratefully received. I'm out of contract in May so no immediate rush but don't want to get tied into a 24 month contract on worse terms than I can get elsewhere.

No, thank you. Once I can log in again (not working at the moment) I'll see if the figures quoted on the initial offer are what I have accepted, or if it is the second set of figures I saw when I logged in on 2/5. All very confusing.

I've just checked on the account and can confirm that the renewal was a success and is reflecting on the account as complete. This was done on the 05/02/2026, so I think there's nothing you should worry about. Is there anything else I can do for you?
