Trying to not renew broadband contract getting absolutely nowhere

I am currently trying to end my broadband contract as it is up for renewal (I have had email about contracting ending soon) and have tried contacting via chat but unfortunately the person I was talking to was not helpful and repeatedly asked me why I was leaving, who to, what speeds etc, and eventually said they had cancelled my contract - it is still showing as active and up for renewal on my account - I do not know who to contact as I cannot get through to anyone via telephone it just keeps saying nobody available and cuts me off.

@kirstycash123, if you were talking on Live Chat, they can't fully process it and have to get someone to call you to confirm. 

 

So you are better actually phoning 03451 720088, even if it means a long wait. Just hold your ground when they try to persuade you to stay - they are the Loyalty team  / Retentions, so their job is to try to keep your custom. Just keep saying you want to cancel, and make sure you have any returns bags you need for sending back equipment etc.

 

They should be open till 7pm weekdays, 9am -6pm Saturday.

Is your intention to simply cancel and not have any service at all going forwards? Or are you switching to another provider? The help article below covers the various options and steps you should take:
