People can't assume that VOIP will come automatically with any of the Full Fibre services, @davemk39.

It must be ordered WITH the order for Full Fibre, not added later.

Top tip: the Hub 2 works just fine with Full Fibre, in fact many prefer it to the eero, myself included, just saying!  🙂

it looks like G  fast was the issue and cause for breaking contract.

i contacted them again to ask about upgrading to full fibre 150 and there was no mention of contracts.

i was also told i can have a landline with full fibre 500.

nowhere does talktalk site mention this

so you have to assume you can get landline with full fibre 900 too.

thanks for all the help,

i didnt upgrade as the thought of setting up an eero6 after i had just set up a hub2 would do my head in.

Yes, probably just G. Fast, though Talktalk is not clear in their terminology.

However, those that are definitely Full Fibre seem to be labelled as such on the tin.

Useful details on this site explain why there is such a muddle, @davemk39:

Looking yet again, it is not "Full Fibre" though, so perhaps only with G.fast?

So it is, buried in the small print for some reason rather than on the main Compare our Broadband Deals page?

One-off charges are listed here, @davemk39:

http://community.talktalk.co.uk/pricing

There is a Fibre 250 package listed, but "subject to availability":

I would definitely call to discuss your options further, the best number for the customer loyalty team is 0345 172 5157. I am not aware that they offer a Fibre 250 package, though?

its mental considering the package i wanted would mean an increase in monthly bill

to what i'm paying now and i was ok with that.

Sometimes mid-contract fees have been charged for changes @ £30.00, @davemk39, but NEVER what you have been quoted  - that's totally off the scale!

Hi davemk39

That doesn't sound right, there shouldn't be a contract breakage fee for an upgrade as a new contract will be started.

Might be worth calling again.
