Some URLs are blocked on different devices with various browsers at home using TalkTalk.

These URLs are not blocked elsewhere with different ISP.

A friend with TalkTalk has the same issue. Do others have the same problem?

Examples of blocked URLs:

https://sso.teachable.com/secure/831191/identity/sign_up/otp

https://tinyurl.com/Gyulama

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

So the answer is

KidSafe, Homework time, Scamsafe and Virus Alerts all need to be OFF on all devices that connect to TalkTalk WiFi.
Thank you everyone.

@Prajna, did you see that your friend found that ALL Homesafe settings needed to be switched off?

You may find that something in there is switched on by default, even if you don't knowingly use it.

Thank you fr8years for your response.
I am not using Home and Kids Safe. I will try your other suggestion.
Malware and Security are yes always problems and good that TalkTalk block those sites.

Do you use Home and Kids safe?

If so try adding the links to the allow list, then once having saved then, reboot your router (preferably turning it off for 30 minutes to start a new session), close the browser and when the internet is back on, try again.

If you don't use home kid safe try changing the DNS values on the router to those used by Google. 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.

If you use home safe changing the values mean this will not work as it relays on TalkTalk servers.

We've recently had a situation where a website was block by TalkTalk as they reported malware being present, so the site was blocked for customer security.

Staff are not back until Monday now so won't be able to check those you've mentioned, so hope in the meantime the above may help you access these sites.
